A Night of Black and White
Saturday, March 6, 2010
7:30 p.m.
La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater
Reserved Seating: $15
VIP Seating: $25*
Jeff Black and Don White are the yin and yang of contemporary folk music. While their names suggest contrast, both write from their personal, working class experiences. Blacks music comes out of the south and is influenced by country, blues and rock. Whites influences are the New England folk scene and the tradition of the storyteller. Together, these acclaimed artists present music of the soul that makes audiences laugh and cry. Both artists have multiple recordings and tour extensively, performing in clubs and at festivals throughout the U.S.
In the spirit of the evening, those attending are encouraged to wear their favorite black and white clothes.
