What is the difference between recurring and individual events?

Recurring events are events that repeat over the course of time and are generally recognized for their consistency and pattern. For example, an organization may have a business meeting every wednesday at 7pm. In contrast, an individual event is a one time occurence such as a Suber Bowl Party. Individual Events are slightly random and will not necessarily repeat.
