The mission of Big Brothers and Big Sisters is to make a positive difference in the lives of children and youth, primarily through a professionally-supported One-to-One relationship with a caring adult. Through leadership and standards of excellence, adult volunteers assist the children in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become confident, competent and caring individuals.

WELCOME TO BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF MONROE COUNTY
FOOTBALL SWEEPSTAKES 2009!
The sweepstakes runs for 10 weeks beginning Nov 1, 2009 and ending Jan 3, 2010.
There are 5 prizes given away each week for the Highest and Lowest scoring tickets.
Here is how it works!
A ticket has 3 football teams each week. If those 3 teams score the most, or least, number of points, it is a winner!
For example, a ticket on the first week has: Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, and the Cleveland Browns. The table below shows how the "total score" for the first week is determined.

Pittsburgh Steelers 37
Chicago Bears 22
Cleveland Browns 40
Ticket Total Score 99
If 99 points is the HIGHEST TOTAL SCORE for the purchased tickets, then this ticket is a Highest Scoring Ticket winner!
The 2nd place winner is the purchased ticket who scored the 2nd most points for a weekend.
We keep going down the purchased ticket list until all winners have been paid.
Lowest scoring tickets also win prizes! If the 3 teams on your tickets scored the lowest number of points for a week, it is a winner!
A team winning or losing makes no difference. Winning tickets are determined by the number of points the 3 teams score.
