| CANCER PREVENTION STUDY-3 |
Research today for a cancer-free tomorrow.
What if you could make it so just one family never had to hear the words "you have cancer?"
This year, you can be a part of this historic research effort by enrolling and encouraging others to enroll in the American Cancer Society's third Cancer Prevention Study (CPS-3).
Enrollment will take place at the Relay for Life of Monroe on May 31, 2008 from 2:00 to 6:00 p..m.
Who: Anyone between the ages of 30 and 65 who has never been diagnosed with cancer and is willing to commit to the study long-term over the next 25 years.
How: You can enroll at the Relay for Life of Monroe. Enrollment is a simple, two-phase process. Anyone can enroll, not just Relayers. You will be asked to complete a brief survey, provide a waist measurement, and give a small amount of blood like at a doctor visit collected by a certified, trained phlebotomist. Everything is kept confidential. Periodically you will receive a survey in the mail to update your information and this additional content will contribute to the study.
Monroe was chosen to do this survey and it is a great honor. Tell everyone you know about this one-time historic opportunity to actively participate in research and make a difference in the fight against cancer.
What if this research ultimately leads to the elimination of cancer as a major health problem for future generations making a difference for our children and grandchildren?
WE ARE FAMILIES FIGHTING FOR A CURE!!

| Thank You For Supporting Us At Relay For Life!!! |
Relay For Life 2008
I would like to thank everyone on our team for the hard work and fundraising efforts you did to make our Relay For Life a huge success. Bezeau's Believers had such a huge support of people this year that we are very close to our personal team goal of $6,000. We are now at $4,975.81 which is already over the amount we raised last year. Also thank you to anyone on our team who participated in the CPS3 Cancer Survey. This is just one more way we can help researchers find a cure for cancer. There are some who have never experienced Relay and don't understand why we do it. If you came out to witness the thousands of luminaries lighting the track with loved ones names on them and thousands of people including children becoming silent for one hour, you would feel the emotion and HOPE that keeps us coming back every year.
Bezeau's Believers is a team of "Families Fighting For A Cure" until Cancer is eliminated and we walk in Celebration that Cancer is gone for good.
