The Non-religious Pastor

I have had a call on my life for 35 years to become a pastor. One of the struggles has been that, though I love God, I don't like religion. I define that as all the trappings of most churches I have been at including boring music, sitting for a long time (I am still a little boy in that regard), and a lot of stupid rules that have nothing to do with morality. I don't even mind going to church because I like to be with people and especially when they are worshiping Jesus or having fun. I also like to do stuff with people to help other folks.

I found that God is real and his name is Jesus. He made me, loves me, and wants to spend time with me. That is probably the single coolest thing, that He wants to spend time with me! Let me know what you think.
